“Awesome” comes in many forms. Sometimes, it comes in the form of a book…a very awesome book, in fact. And sometimes that book is actually a sandwich made from cookie, covered in dark chocolate and stuffed with vanilla ice cream. Yum! This sandwich is inspired by snow days, finding money in your pocket and everything else at 1000awesomethings.


It contains all of the usual suspects you’d find in a traditional club–turkey, bacon, cheddar and tomato–but with one special difference: Jamaican beef patties instead of bread. Ya mon!

I’ll never claim to be well-practiced in Haitian cuisine. The best I could do was search some recipes and combine a few ideas to create this take on Haitian French Toast, which includes fresh mango and drizzled honey.
Still have leftovers lingering around? Lump of coal in your stocking instead of that iPod Touch? Well, this stocking-shaped sandwich won’t play your fave tunes, but it will help you get rid of those blasted leftovers. It’s got turkey breast, cranberry sauce and stuffing, and it’s sitting on a puddle of turkey gravy.
I know everybody hates fruitcake. But would you consider uprooting and eating one of these fruitcake tree sandwiches if I told you they’re filled with orange marmalade and chocolate hazelnut spread?
