So it’s come down to this: Friendly’s Restaurant seems to be playing a serious game of oneupsmanship with KFC by creating this Grilled Cheese BurgerMelt, which is even worse for you than the Double Down. I thought I’d pulled off the ultimate bad-for-you parody with the Quadruple Down, but it looks like Friendly’s has got the upper hand… for now.

A burger bike, really?! And I thought the burger bed was the nuttiest non-food burger. Geesh!

A ridiculously delicious experiment is taking place over at Epic Portions. Originally conceived by A Hamburger Today, it’s called The Flood Burger. The process is simple: Take two already-cooked burgers and squeeze the living juice out of them. Then freeze the juice and encase it inside more ground beef. When grilled – voilà! – The Flood Burger is born. I’d say it’s a floody good mess! Wouldn’t you?

Not a dinner roll. Not a hamburger bun. Nope. Those are grilled portobello mushrooms divided by turkey and Swiss. Chives on top add a touch of class.

It’s a massacre because, well, look at it! Stuffed inside this insanely sweet creation, you’ll find two mint patty “hamburgers”, smooshed Starburst “cheese”, Boston cream “mayo” and colored coconut “lettuce”. All of this comes between a sliced Boston cream doughnut bun. Oh, the horror! The horror!
